Chloe (Ursula)
This is Chloe’s second performance with Centerstage, previously cast as the DoDo Bird in Alice In Wonderland. She has performed previously in Kidstage productions in Lion King, Harriet Patter and the Sorcerer’s Soda, and Beauty and the Beast but has really enjoyed the Center Stage family. She loves theatre, tennis, Girl Scouts, and hanging out with her friends. She is currently in 7th grade at Lewis Palmer Middle School.

Ellie (Flotsam)
Ellie is a first grader at Gold Camp Elementary and this is her first Center Stage production.  When not practicing her lines Ellie enjoys reading, swimming, ballet, and skiing. Ellie is excited to be part of this play.

Miaja (Flounder)
Miaja is a 5th grader in Widefield School District 3. Her role as Flounder will be her fifth performance with Center Stage. She has performed as Genie (Aladdin), Tweedledum (Alice in Wnderland), Cogsworth (Beauty and the Beast), Marty (Madagascar) and Mr. Bucket (Willy Wonke). Off the performing stage Miaja has Qualified as member of her school’s holiday festival choir, was a two member of the high school booster club (2014-2016), received District recognition for personal activities and achievement in the Antibullying campaign and a Student Council Member holding the position of Class President, and a Student News Press Member. In what is left of her free time she enjoys golfing and bowling with her family and playing softball and watching baseball.

Kay McNeill (Director)

 

Director – Kay McNeill
Kay has been a music/drama teacher for grades K-12 in Colorado Springs School District #11 since 1975. She owns her own training company, Education Resources, and has taught teachers nationwide for several universities, including Lesley U., Chapman U., the Univ. of Phoenix, Cal State U Hayward. She has staged many theatrical productions for both schools and local communities and has been cited in Who’s Who in American Education. Her creative energy is infectious.
